Brettanomyces Testing Service                                         

To introduce to our new Z-Brett technology, we are offering a Brettanomyces wine testing service.  Unitech confirms orders and handles billing; Z-Wine Co. performs testing and reports results.

The Basics

Cost:                      $30/sample for z-Brett immunoassay

$48/sample for combined result.

 

Minimum order:        4 samples

Turn-around Time:    Z-Brett results will be emailed in 2 working days

Results by both microbiology culture (the gold standard method) and Z-Brett will be emailed within 2-weeks

2.  Sample from the bottom of the barrel or tank, but not "leas".  Brettanomyces settles, becoming more concentrated lower in the 

                     barrel.

   Sample size: 1 -1000 mL (samples will not be returned)

• 500mL - 750mL:  sensitivity cutoff will be 10 CFU*/mL  (*=colony forming units of Brettanomyces bruxellensis)

• 10 - 30 mL:  sample will be tested without concentration (i.e. filtration); sensitivity cut off will be 10,000 cells/mL

 3.  Package & Ship:  

• Minimize head-space by filling your well-sealed container; protect glass containers to avoid breakage
